Thank you for your always support!

Currently, I am testing the “Manual” theme on a test domain.
I plan to migrate to the production domain and also prepare a validation domain that corresponds to it.

The current domains are as follows:
    Test domain: test.jp
    Production domain: main.jp
    Validation domain: dev.main.jp

Here are the steps I am planning to take:

1.Back up the “test.jp” environment using the “All-in-One WP Migration” plugin.
2.Import the backup created in step 1 to “main.jp”.
3.Back up the “main.jp” environment using the “All-in-One WP Migration” plugin.
4.Import the backup created in step 3 to “dev.main.jp”.
    5.Discard the “test.jp” domain.

Also, once a month, I will copy the environment from “main.jp” to “dev.main.jp”.

Please let me know the number of required purchases and the procedures related to licensing authentication for the “Manual” theme when implementing this.

    Thank you very much!

To clarify, you will need two licenses ( i.e 2 purchases required ) – one for test.jp and one for main.jp. However, the good news is that our license system supports the subdomain “dev.main.jp.” This means that you can use the same license for both main.jp and dev.main.jp, which can help you save on costs.

    Thanks

    Thank you for your response!

So, I need to purchase one more license for “main.jp” and “dev.main.jp”, in addition to the license for “test.jp” that I have already purchased.
I will purchase it as soon as I am ready.

Thank you for always providing me with excellent support!

Thank you for your continuous support.

I am currently proceeding with the domain transfer process.
After using the “All-in-One WP Migration” plugin to Export/Import the WordPress environment to the new domain, the license has been activated on the new domain.

Do I need to perform the “[Remove Licence]” once to set the new license?
Also, please let me know if there are any implications of performing the “[Remove Licence]” process.

By the way, we have not been using the Manual Theme with the domain we have been using until now.

No need to be concerned; we will manually remove all the inactive sites from the license.

    Thank you for your response.
So, to clarify, if [License type:] is set to [ACTIVATED] under [Manual Theme] > [Dashboard] > [Registration] > [Theme Overview], does that mean a new license purchase is not necessary?

The new license is required only if the license is currently being used on another domain. For instance, if it’s in use on a.com / subdomain.a.com and you’re installing it on b.com, a new license would be needed in that scenario.

    Thanks

    Thank you for your response.

Regarding this domain change, I understand that additional license purchase is not necessary.
The previous domain has been closed.

    Thank you for your support!

We’ll review where your domain name was previously used. If it’s no longer in use, we’ll take it off the list. This gives you the chance to reuse the license key.

    Thanks
