In the latest release notes, there is a feature “Targeted Documentation Category Search”. What is the new feature and is it used to define results of documents in the knowledge base through the search bar function? We are seeing too many search results appear that aren’t linked to the category or title of the document.
The “Targeted Documentation Category Search” feature will only display results based on the selected documentation category. If no any category is selected then the system will search all (all categories/sub-categories) documentation articles for the result.
NOTE: Also, please make sure to select only the required “Post Types” (Manual Options > Search > Advance Search) to make your search limited. Selecting all the “Post Types” will display too many results from different sections like; knowledge, documentation, post, pages, etc…
