    The minus sign will collapse only when you click on the plus sign of another record. The tree menu is designed to display one root record expanded by default. However, sub-category records can remain either open or closed as needed.

    It appears that the portfolio download button isn’t linked to the global button designs through the theme options. We’ll address this issue in our upcoming version. In the meantime, you can use the following CSS code to change the button color:

    p.portfolio-des-n-link {
    background: #47C494;
    }

    p.portfolio-des-n-link:hover {
    background: red;
    }

    This should help you adjust the appearance as needed.

    First, create a homepage by going to Page > Add New Page. You can use any page builder plugin, such as WPBakery or Elementor, to design it.

    Next, insert use the shortcode “Documentation – Tree View Ajax Load Post” to create the design.

    Then, navigate to Settings > Reading. Under the option “Your homepage displays,” select “A static page” and set your newly created page as the homepage.

    Thanks

    1 year, 9 months ago in reply to: Displaying the Tree Menu on Mobile Devices #4914

    On a mobile device, the main menu will be replaced by a tree menu. When you click on the hamburger icon, you will be able to see the documentation tree menu.

    If the documentation menu is not visible, it means the responsive menu has been disabled for the documentation. To enable the menu, navigate to ‘Manual Theme > Theme Options > Tree Menu’ and enable the ‘Responsive menu’ option. This will switch the regular menu to the documentation menu when the website transitions to a mobile-friendly layout.

    Note that, this change only affects the page where the theme finds documentation articles.

    You can use the ‘Post Type Switcher’ plugin (downloadable from https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-type-switcher/) to easily change the type of your posts.

    You can switch from a
    1. Page to Post
    2. Post to Page
    3. Post to Custom or
    4. Custom to Custom’ with this WordPress plugin.

    Thanks

    The steps you followed are accurate. However, in some cases, if the site/browser is cached, the results may not be displayed. Please ensure to clear the cache, especially if you have applied any cache plugin, and check the results again. If issues persist, kindly repost your query on our private support desk at https://smartwpthemes.com/submit-a-ticket/, providing your site access details. This will allow our technical team to investigate the issue more thoroughly.

    2 years, 4 months ago in reply to: How to export Manual custom post types to CPTUI #4720

    Apologies for the wait. There are two crucial areas that require your attention:

    1. In the plugin directory ‘plugins/manual-framework/post-type,’ you’ll find all the custom post_type references.

    2. Navigate to the theme directory ‘themes/manual/framework/ReduxCore/manual,’ where the slug name and various other settings for the custom post_type are linked.

    Adjusting these two sections should help you accomplish your intended goal.

    We haven’t tested CPTUI yet, so we’re not familiar with its functionality. However, we can provide you with a general idea of the process. Begin by navigating to Tools > Export and export the ‘Knowledge Base’ and ‘Documentation’ content. After exporting, proceed to ‘Plugin > Install Plugins.’ Deactivate the ‘Manual Framework (Post Type)’ plugin and attempt to create custom post types (e.g., knowledge base, documentation). This should work effectively.

    If you’ve already added posts, pages, media, and galleries within ‘Post Types Target Search’ and the functionality is still not working, the potential issue may be caused by additional add-on plugins. Please consider disabling all extra add-on plugins and recheck the search results. Sometimes, these extra add-on plugins can interfere with the search, causing issues.
